About Kalawati Saran Children's Hospital
Established in 1956, Kalawati Saran Children's Hospital is one of Delhi's oldest and most respected pediatric healthcare institutions. Affiliated with Lady Hardinge Medical College, we have been at the forefront of pediatric medicine for over six decades, serving children from across Northern India and neighboring countries.
Our hospital is named after Shrimati Kalawati Saran, a noted social worker and wife of former Union Minister for Health, Rajkumari Amrit Kaur. The institution was envisioned as a dedicated pediatric care center to address the growing healthcare needs of children in post-independence India.
Today, we operate as a 350-bed super-specialty pediatric hospital with state-of-the-art medical technology, advanced neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, and specialized departments covering every aspect of child healthcare. Our institution combines medical excellence with compassionate care, ensuring that every child receives the best possible treatment in a child-friendly environment.
